With sixty years of legacy, vitality, and renewed resolve, we embark on a new journey. In November 2025, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) will celebrate its 60th anniversary.Since preparations for the celebration began, all university departments have worked with dedication and coordination, with enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and students. Alumni at home and abroad have shown deep affection and strong support for their alma mater, and friends from all walks of life have offered warm attention and generous assistance.Through a series of splendid academic, cultural, and alumni events, the University has fostered a warm and inspiring atmosphere, laying a solid foundation for the forthcoming 60th anniversary celebration.

Together in anticipation, we await the unfolding of a new chapter. On November 22, the University will host the 60th Anniversary Development Conference, along with a host of events to be held around the celebration period, including the Asian University Presidents Forum, Blue Future: Forum on Pacific Island Sustainable Development Cooperation, the Conference of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area – Southeast Asia Think TankCooperation Alliance, the Congress of the GDUFS Alumni Association Board and Global Alumni Representatives, and a cultural gala performance.
