工作坊简介：
制度理论是目前研究转型经济或者新型经济体内组织行为、组织结构和企业战略管理最流行，也是最有力的理论框架。制度理论揭示不同层面的制度体系对个体、群体和组织决策和行动的影响。从广义来说，所有的行为都是制度化的行为。因此，制度理论已经成为当前组织分析和战略管理研究的必修内容。
工作坊目标：
中国正处于转型经济之中，其制度环境处于快速变化阶段。这种不稳定的制度环境对企业管理者的战略决策和实施都会产生不利影响。同时，中国的转型经济体制环境也为检验制度理论的各种假设提供了一个观察和实证平台。因此，为了更好地研究中国的企业战略问题，了解制度理论的发展及其在中国的应用，同时也为了推动制度理论的发展，特举办此次工作坊，希望以此推动在我国开展以制度理论研究企业战略和组织行为的新局面。
会议对象：
全国管理学院中有志于应用制度理论进行战略管理理论研究与实证研究。
会议内容：
主题演讲与文献研读相结合。要求参会者在会前阅读完所提供的文献。

Workshop on Institutional Theory & Enterprise Strategy 2008

Workshop description:
Institutional theory has been the most prevailing and powerful tool in explaining transitional economy, as well as the organizational behavior, organizational structure, and enterprise strategy inside emerging economies. Institutional theory explores the influence of institution on individual, group and organization in making decisions or taking actions from different dimensions. Extensively speaking, all behaviors are institutionalized, which makes institutional theory a compulsory course for research on organizational analysis and strategic management.
Workshop Objective:
China is a typical transitional economy and on a phase of changing institutional environment, which might adversely affect the enterprise executives when making strategic decision and implementation. At the same time, the transitional economy and its institutional environment in China provide us an observing and empirical platform in testing diverse hypotheses of institutional theory. The goal of this workshop is to advance the research on issues of Chinese enterprises, and to facilitate and push the understanding of development and application of institutional theory in China, in the hope of promoting the research on enterprise strategy and organizational behavior based on institutional theory.
Participants：
Junior faculties and PhD students from the school of management in China, who wish to do research on strategic management using the tools of institutional theory.
Workshop methods:
Keynote speeches, group discussions, and literature reading. Participants are required to attend all two days of the workshop and expected to come to the conference prepared by having completed the reading and ready with questions about them.
